I am Deborah Gladding, a licensed clinical psychologist offering psychotherapy and psychological assessment for families, children and adolescents, couples, and adults of all ages. I offer a safe and confidential environment for you to share your concerns while we work together to find solutions.
Families come in all shapes, sizes, and compositions, with a variety of unique strengths and challenges. I can assist with concerns such as stress management, conflict resolution, parent/child relationship problems, adjustment to changes within the family, and communication problems. I can also provide assistance with problems related to blending families, adoption, and foster parenting. My goal is to help families identify ways they can solve problems and learn skills for strengthening their relationships now and in the future.
Adolescents and children are constantly learning, growing, and changing. This can be difficult, both for them and their family. I have experience working with children of all ages and believe all children have the potential for success. I can assist with behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, problems with school, bullying, self-esteem, anger management, ADHD, and coping skills for stress. My goal is to help children and adolescents recognize their strengths and build on those strengths to improve their ability to be successful as they grow and develop. At the same time, my goal is to help parent(s) and/or caregivers recognize their part in helping children and adolescents reach their potential.
Sharing life as a couple can be one of life's most enjoyable experiences, but there may be unexpected or difficult challenges. Whether you are exploring the possibility of committing to a long-term relationship, are in a new relationship, or have been in a long-term relationship, I can assist with helping you identify problematic communication patterns, explore differences in perspectives, or learn strategies for strengthening your relationship.
If you are an adult, young or more seasoned, and are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief from the loss of a loved one, difficulties getting along with others, feelings of being overwhelmed, or need support during a difficult time in your life, I can offer a warm and safe place to discuss your concerns. Together, we will find ways for you to heal and grow, so you can have a more rich and fulfilling life.
Whether facing a new challenge or desiring to address an on-going concern, I look forward to assisting you in reaching your goals. Please call 480-516-1305 for a new patient consultation today.
